12/14/11 Mother is a Tiger

Mother tiger is hunting me
Turning my mindfulness in mindlessness
Turning me on to full feeling
Leaving me stranded no where in her abyss
I rejoice, and she slaps me with the ordinary
I resist, and she kicks me with her tongue of infinite grace
“I know not where to stand” I say
And she bites me hard
Blood gushing, she shows me the reality
That this is her own blood
Forming a raging current of devotion
Streaming back into life

12/13/11 Enbellyment

Deep within the Belly is a profound acceptance of what is
Therefore
Do the Belly dance
Dare to become Enbellied
You will lose all those flashy moves quick
And be pounding away step by step
Like a savage
But it is only there that you can realize
That the birds still sing for you there
The wind still blows for you there
The sun still shines
The rain still pours
Lightening, for a moment, still casts your mind into oblivion
Thunder still rumbles your heart awake
You’ve hit the bottom
You’ve hit the Belly
Now you have no doubt
That it is not for your fancy moves
Or dressy dress
It is for You
Oh one
Who dares to Enbelly

12/12/11 Trust

It is absolutely absurd
How much we are already, spontaneously trusting in life
Despite all of the horrid conditions and possibilites
Which we don’t need to go into here,
or even get through, or enlighten, or anything of that sort
Being doomed
Why not go all the way?
Who are you to assume trust isn’t here anyway?
Trust is a current
Deep within Being
Live from there.

11/1/11

There is no where for me to return
Mediation has been  made obsolete
At Her feet
I’m not sure now what to do
The path is now my lover
And we have merged
She is so vibrant
I can’t even see her face
She is so near
I can’t even feel her touch
So she shapeshifts
into the trees
into the sky
into the ocean
into my teath
into my own heart
My god! I have found her
Hiding in the most mundane bush
Sneakily turning no-where
into everywhere
